What happens to a recording?

Recording pieces are first saved on your device, then temporarily uploaded to administrator-managed Microsoft SharePoint storage. ClassReplay assembles them on its server and uploads the finished video to your Google Drive. Interrupted or failed jobs retain saved material for recovery.

Google access, explained

ClassReplay uses Google sign-in to identify approved teachers and requests access to Drive files created or opened with the app. It uses this access to deliver and verify your recordings. It does not request access to your entire Drive, Gmail, or Google Classroom. Classroom integration is not currently available.
