Using ClassReplay

These terms describe use of ClassReplay, operated by ByteBot Tech Inc., Barbados. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you use ClassReplay for a school or other organization, you must be authorized to do so. Contact support@bytebottech.com with questions.

The service

ClassReplay helps approved teachers record presentations and audio in Google Meet, optionally include their camera, and deliver an assembled recording to their Google Drive. Access is currently provided as a private pilot. Features may change as the service is tested and developed.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to record, upload, and share lesson content. Follow applicable laws, school policies, classroom agreements, and the terms of Google and Microsoft services. Provide required notices and obtain required permissions, including for participants who are minors. ClassReplay does not provide Meet's built-in participant recording notification.

Keep your account and devices secure. Do not use the service for unauthorized surveillance, unlawful content, infringement, harassment, bypassing access controls, or disrupting systems. Do not give others access through your signed-in account.

Your content

You retain any rights you hold in your recordings. You authorize ByteBot Tech Inc. and the service providers involved to store, transmit, process, assemble, and deliver that content as necessary to operate ClassReplay and provide requested support. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content. You control the sharing of finished recordings from your Drive.

Connected accounts and storage

Google authorization is required for production sign-in and Drive delivery. Temporary recordings pass through administrator-managed SharePoint and the ClassReplay server. Storage limits, provider outages, expired credentials, and organizational policies can affect operation. Data practices are described in our Privacy policy.

Recording reliability

ClassReplay is a pilot service and is not guaranteed to capture every frame or sound. Browser changes, device sleep, network or disk failures, and changes to Meet can interrupt recording. Recovery can only use data that was successfully saved. Check important recordings and retain appropriate copies. An employer's or school's requirement to record classes does not create a guarantee by ClassReplay that a recording will succeed.

Access, suspension, and ending use

Access is limited to approved accounts. We may restrict access to address misuse, security concerns, or operational problems. You may stop using the service and revoke Google authorization at any time. Signing out or uninstalling does not automatically cancel server processing or erase stored recordings. Contact support for account closure and deletion requests; retention is explained in the Privacy policy.

Availability and responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the pilot service is provided as available without a promise of uninterrupted operation or suitability for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any separate written agreement with ByteBot Tech Inc. governs the matters it expressly covers.

Changes and questions

We may update these terms as ClassReplay develops. Material changes will be communicated through the service or an appropriate contact channel before they take effect where required. ClassReplay is independent of Google and Microsoft and is not endorsed by either company.
